Tell Governor Beshear to Sign SB 9: The Born Alive Act.
Last year the General Assembly waited until the last minute to pass SB 9 and gave the Governor the opportunity to veto the Born Alive Act (same bill number this year). The Born Alive Act requires life saving measures to be given to a baby who survives an abortion. The Kentucky General Assembly has quickly passed it in both chambers at the beginning of the session this year. Now the bill is waiting on the Governor's signature. We believe he will likely veto SB 9 again this year, but you still need to let him hear your voice on this matter.
